How it works
From playlist to party in 30 seconds
Paste a playlist
Grab the share link of any public Spotify playlist and drop it in. No Spotify login, no account — the game reads the track list for you.
Add your players
Type in everyone's name. GuessSong is a local party game: one screen, one host, everyone shouting answers at it.
Play the clip
The host hits play and a short clip (5–30 seconds, you choose) blasts out. No titles, no covers — just the music.
Guess & score
Everyone guesses out loud. The host taps whoever got it first — the scoreboard keeps track until a winner emerges.
New · Multiplayer
Mixed Playlist Mode 🔀
Everyone brings their own playlist and GuessSong merges them into one pool. The extra question each round: whose playlist did that song come from?
Pass This Phone
Each player takes the host's phone, adds their name and playlist link, and passes it on. Nobody sees anyone else's tracks.
QR Code Room
The host opens a room and shows a QR code. Players scan it on their own phone, submit a playlist, and appear on the host's screen live.
Save a Taste Card
When the game ends, download a shareable Taste Card: the “Shared Bangers” every playlist had in common, plus two awards — Most Obscure Taste (whose picks were hardest for the room to guess) and Most Mainstream (highest average Spotify popularity).

Put them in order 📅
A second way to play any playlist. Each round shows four songs — title, artist, cover — and the room puts them in order of release year, oldest first. The host reveals the years: 3 points for the whole order, 1 for naming the oldest song. Nothing is played, so it works in a loud bar or on a bad connection, and it works with Mixed Playlist Mode too.
Pick “Put them in order” on the setup page →New · Send a link
Taste Quiz 🎧
Not a party — a link. Friends open it on their own phone, guess which of two songs is really in your playlist, and land on a leaderboard of who knows your taste best.
Make a Taste Quiz →Scoring
The host is the judge
No typing, no autocorrect arguments. Players shout their guesses, and the host taps the fastest correct answer on the scoreboard.
